Come and discover the joy of walking along rows and rows of orange trees… and much more. This is a place where the experiences revolve around oranges, giving you the opportunity to delve into the Region of Valencia’s history.

Located in Carcaixent in La Ribera Alta in the province of Valencia, Huerto Ribera is much more than an orange grove: it’s a world of experiences where you’ll be blown away by the sight of the citrus trees, where you can learn everything there is to know about the local orange tradition and where you can discover a talent you didn’t know you had in one of the workshops.

Huerto Ribera runs guided tours of the 1870 palace, which is swept up in orange trees, and the century-old groves and gardens around it. You will learn about the growth of the orange business and its importance for Carcaixent and the Ribera family.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll enjoy being outdoors, discovering the processes involved in orange cultivation and the situation the sector currently finds itself in. To end, you will dig into a delicious selection of Valencian products. Huerto Ribera gives you the opportunity to enjoy the unmistakable flavours of the local oranges in addition to orange blossom honey, marmalades and even liqueurs.

But that’s just the start of everything that Huerto Ribera has to offer. How do you fancy learning how to make a Christmas wreath? Or discovering the production process of vermouth, a staple of aperitivo? Alternatively, you can choose the Birthplace of the Orange Tour, which will take you on an exploration of the old warehouse, an Art Nouveau building dating to the early 20th century.

Huerto Ribera gives you the opportunity to sit down to almuerzo, a typically Valencian brunch, comprising all the ingredients needed to make it an unforgettable experience. Or you could learn to make Agua de Valencia, a fresh and zingy cocktail.

Huerto Ribera can organise personalised visits that have been tailored to your group: just imagine how much fun you’re going to have. School groups are also welcome and there’s a Painting Workshop which will see you setting up your easel en plein air in the company of a professional artist. Huerto Ribera is an incredible destination to record a video, do a photo shoot or host a business event. So how about it?
