The Renaissance is an artistic and, by extension, cultural epoch that began in the Modern Age and in which the ideals of the humanist movement that developed in Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries are reflected, entailing a break with the medieval vision of the world: the resurgence of trade, urban life, the emergence of the bourgeoisie and strong monarchical powers, the great geographical discoveries, the unitary vision of the world, the spread of classical philosophy, the separation of religion and philosophy, of reason and faith, also the freedom of thought and the great scientific knowledge.
Early Music Morella celebrates its XII edition with Feminae and delves into the female universe and that of the female composers of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. From traditional, medieval and Renaissance music, Early Music Morella is articulated each year around specific themes designed to stimulate new attitudes that bring us closer to the music of the past, promoting its research and dissemination and ultimately the recovery of this heritage
Discover two of the treasures of Buñol: its magnificent castle and the music of its prestigious bands, which have been combined to create an event where music caresses the stones of a fortress that has more than a thousand years of history. The activity consists of a guided tour ending with a small concert by one of the many groups that have arisen out of our prestigious bands.
The band founded by Scotsman Mike Scott will perform on August 1, 2024. The doors of the Jardines de Abril venue will open at 8:00 p.m. to enjoy the gardens, live art, the artisan market and gastronomy. The Waterboys concert will begin at 10:30 p.m.
