Villajoyosa is one of the most historic towns on the Costa Blanca. Located in the Marina Baixa region, a few kilometers from Benidorm. We know, thanks to the work of archaeologists that both Phoenicians, Greeks and Romans inhabited this area. The Romans called it Allon, being one of the few Roman cities in the Valencian Community. Dive to a depth of 35 metres to see a shipwreck in the waters of Sagunto, the majestic S.S. Coila, which was sunk by the German submarine U64 a hundred years ago.
