Valencia in photos: unforgettable naturescapes
If you’re keen to capture the province of Valencia in photos, you absolutely have to visit the natural parks. Serra is a great place to roam Sierra Calderona, which boasts an incredible viewing point – El Garbí – where you can get great photos of the Mediterranean Sea.
Chera-Sot de Chera Natural Park is populated with mindboggling geological formations and Puebla de San Miguel has ethnological heritage that you’ll want to capture on film. Hoces del Cabriel Natural Park will get you rubbing your eyes in disbelief at the spectacular scenery while L’Albufera, Marjal de Pego y Oliva and El Turia are great spots to watch the water birds fly through the skies at sunset. We’d highly recommend a birding excursion during your getaway to the province of Valencia.
The list of landscapes to feature in your photo album of Valencia is endless. Though we don’t have space to list them all, we’d like to mention El Nacimiento Gorge in Millares, Turche Cave in Buñol, Chella Waterfall, the River Turia as it makes its way through Chulilla, La Cabrentà in Estubeny, the agricultural landscapes of the huerta in L'Horta Nord and the River Fraile in Bicorp. As well as El Júcar Canyon between Cofrentes and Cortes de Pallás.
Valencia in photos: history, sights and tradition
Your photography collection for the province of Valencia will benefit from a touch of monumentality, which our castles are more than able to deliver. Xàtiva Castle absolutely has to be on your to-visit list, as does Montesa Castle, which is nothing short of spectacular. The awesome legacy still standing from Roman Sagunto will result in hundreds of photos as will Peña Cortada Aqueduct, which runs through Chelva, Tuejar, Domeño and Calles.
Beautiful inland villages like Castielfabib, Ademuz, Requena, Bocairent and more are musts if you’re looking to capture some great shots. And then there are all of the traditions. Just imagine what you will capture on film during Fallas de València and La Mare de Déu de la Salut Festival in Algemesí, both of which have been listed Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.

Our explorations have led us to València city where you will get some great shots at Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències and the boundless sands of La Malvarrosa Beach. The port and marina paint incredible urban landscapes as does the Historic Centre.
You’ll be amazed by the Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings, like the Silk Exchange and the Central Market, whose dome will wow you. The sheer quantity of monuments that you’ll see will blow you away.
