Spend time at a beach offering all sorts of services and swept up in beautiful scenery. Discover La Grava beach.

La Grava is located in northern Jávea (province of Alicante), close to the port. 290m long, this urban beach is popular though not busy. The beach is named after its pebbles: grava means ‘pebbles’ or ‘loose rocks’ in Spanish. There are also some sandy and rocky areas along this stretch of the coastline, making it the perfect place for your kids to splash about in the water.

The waters are clear and crystalline all year round. There are loungers and parasols available for hire so you don’t need to worry about carrying your own. La Grava is also a great beach for swimmers and water sports enthusiasts (there’s a designated area).

The beach is lined by two seafront promenades, which over time have joined to become one. It’s therefore the perfect place to take a dip, enjoy leisurely strolls along the shore of the Mediterranean and sit down for a bite to eat at the nearby bars and restaurants.

What’s more, Jávea’s well-known fish market is just a stone’s throw away. We'd highly recommend taking a look around. The beach affords vistas over the bay and you can see Cabo de San Antonio and Cap Prim in the background.
