Sitting on the banks of the Turia River Gardens, Palau de la Música in València is not just a symbol of the city, but also a mecca for music and culture. Featuring names of international renown, the Palau de la Música programme is not one you’re going to want to miss.
Constructed in the year 1987, the Palau de la Música building is defined by its vast glass façade. It has two impressive halls whose unbeatable acoustics make them the perfect place to enjoy symphony and chamber music alongside all sorts of other genres including jazz and pop.
Palau de la Música is home to Orquesta de València and puts on art exhibitions that will blow you away. The music programme is designed to appeal to a wide range of music tastes. There is, for instance, a series dedicated to one of Palau de la Música’s most unique features: a 10m-tall organ. And then there are all the music events for children.
Additionally, you can see performances by solo artists, prestigious orchestras, great directors, opera singers, film musicians, polyphonic choirs and chamber music groups. If you’re coming to visit València, it’s well worth checking out the programme.
