Discover incredible cave art at Macizo del Caroig on a guided tour

Take a guided tour of Macizo del Caroig and immerse yourself in the history and the heritage of the Region of Valencia.
The Region of Valencia is home to many sites that are bursting with heritage, culture and history. Thanks to Generalitat Valenciana’s work in recovering, conserving and valuing this precious heritage, today you have the opportunity to discover these incredible historic works of art that have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
As part of the ambition to open the sites to both locals and visitors, Generalitat Valenciana has organised guided tours of Macizo del Caroig to encourage people to visit cave art in the Region of Valencia. The initiative is part of the “Plan to value cave art in the Region of Valencia”, which invites history lovers to take a different guided tour each Saturday.
Awe-inspiring and incredible destinations await. On the first Saturday of the month, you can travel to Dos Aguas to see Cinto de las Letras, one of the main archaeological sites in Macizo del Caroig, famed for the details of the clothing and accessories of the human figures. It is one of the most important panels of Levantine art, an incredible exemplar of Valencian Neolithic art.
On the second Saturday of the month, you have the opportunity to see dinosaur ichnites in Tambuc and Vicent cave in Millares. These two sites date from different periods but are located in the same space.
Garrofero cave in Navarrés and Voro cave in Quesa can be explored on the third Saturday of the month so you can marvel at Levantine art from the Neolithic period. Finally, on the fourth Saturday of the month, you can head to Bicorp and discover the marvels of Moreno gorge.
