Museu d'Art Contemporani de Pego, Pego Contemporary Art Museum, is a must-visit when you find yourself in La Marina Alta in the province of Alicante.

Thanks to the funds received over the years from the local painting contest that started in the 1970s, as well as loans from prominent artists and gallery owners, this institution was founded with the idea of boosting Pego’s cultural scene.

Wander through the various spaces and you’ll see figurative artworks, hyperrealism and other artistic styles on the walls. Marvel at works by artists Francisco López Gómez, Equip Límit and F.
