Moraig Cove is one of the greatest treasures of Poble Nou de Benitatxell: a corner of the Mediterranean that will dazzle you with its landscape.

Moraig Cove is located between Moraira and Jávea, in the municipality of Poble Nou de Benitatxell. It is a beach about 300 metres long, made up of gravel and with crystal clear waters that invite you to dive in from minute one.

This is the main cove of Benitatxell and is set in an exceptional spot, surrounded by cliffs and vegetation. Hidden behind the Puig Llorença massif, access to Moraig Cove is not possible by car. There is a parking area next to the beginning of the road leading down to the cove. The last stretch to reach it must be done on foot.

Despite being a relatively small and secluded cove, it has a multitude of services to offer a perfect experience to visitors. It has access for the disabled and amphibious chairs for bathing; lifeguards, nursing service and daily cleaning so that the beach is in the best conditions.

Naturism lovers are in luck, there is a nudist area on the far left of the cove. And if you are one of those who enjoy water activities, Moraig Cove is perfect for scuba diving and snorkelling.

There is a viewpoint over the Moraig Cove that we encourage you to visit to make the most of the day and enjoy dream views. As you can see, this cove has everything! So grab your towel and parasol and head for Poble Nou de Benitatxell.
