Tres Playas in Alcossebre is a collection of three small interconnected coves. The beach combines fine sand and pebbles and is demarcated by rocks both to the north and the south. In total, the beaches are 400m long and 35m wide. Tres Playas is located in a semiurban area where you can unwind and enjoy listening to the gently lapping waves as you read a good book and soak up the sun.
Tres Playas has all the services you could possibly need for an unforgettable day at the beach. There are walkways, showers, fountains for washing the sand off your feet and bins. The waves here tend to be average-sized and the beach doesn’t get too busy. If you’re driving to the area, the nearest road is the N-340 and there is a parking area close to the beach where you can leave your car. There is also a bike lane flanking the coastline which you can pedal along to explore the local scenery.
Tres Playas is the continuation of El Moro beach, which sits to the south. It is one of the many beaches and coves in Alcalà de Xivert-Alcossebre. If your time here leaves you craving more, you could always make your way to Las Fuentes beach, which is one of the most iconic in the municipality and has freshwater springs in its seabed. Alternatively you could go to Carregador, which is the biggest beach in the town and located in the centre. There are plenty of options out there: come and enjoy them all.
