Discover a beach in Alcossebre with a designated dog-friendly area that your four-legged friend will love.

Alcossebre is home to Serradal, a beautiful natural beach. A pebbly stretch of the coastline, Serradal beach is 1,600m long and 60m wide and sits to the south of Manyetes beach. One of its defining features is its semi-submerged delta, which you can see at the far end, close to the mouth of the river San Miguel.

Serradal beach has all the services you could possibly want or need for a pleasant day out at the seaside. There are walkways leading onto the sand, bins and toilets. And it couldn’t be easier to get here: you can either walk, hop on a bus or drive, leaving your car in a nearby car park.

Another feature of Serradal beach in Alcossebre is that part of the coastline has been designated a dog-friendly area: the perfect place for your dogs to take a dip in the waters and enjoy the sunshine. Well signposted, the Estany area is a dog-friendly beach. Owners are, of course, asked to be responsible with their four-legged friends.

So what are you waiting for? Visit Alcalà de Xivert-Alcossebre to discover all the wonders lining its 10km of Mediterranean coastline. Beyond Serradal, you can also spend time at Las Fuentes, Carregador and La Romana beaches. Start planning your explorations today.
