This is a simple yet very charming course less than 50 metres from the sea and surrounded by pine forests. It is ideally suited to those who prefer long-distance shots.

Surrounded by mature pine forests that create a wonderful view, Costa Azahar is only six kilometres from Castellón de la Plana, and twelve kilometres from Benicàssim. This is a very naturally contoured course, with little artificial landscaping, and the sight and smell of the Mediterranean accompanies you all the way round.

The fairways are heavily protected by fully grown trees that punish wayward shots more often than most would like. It is important to shoot straight on this course, something all players hope for but do not always achieve.

The greens are not very large, so approach shots require a great deal of care. Accuracy is the key to ensure the ball does not stray too far from the flag.
