Gurugú Beach in Castellon has a length of 1 kilometre and an average width of 140 metres. It is located between the Camino de la Plana crossroads and the mouth of the Seco River. It has a medium level of occupation and its length and width allow its visitors to have their own space and enjoy the beach without any problems, far from the crowds of other points along the coast of Castellón.
It is a beach with all kinds of services for a day of beach fun. During the summer season there are several beach bars where you can have a refreshment to cool off or a drink at night (they are open until the early hours of the morning!). There are also outdoor sports facilities and playgrounds for children to play in. An ideal beach for the whole family to enjoy and for young and old alike to have a good time.
Gurugú beach is certified with the Q for Tourist Quality and offers the option of renting sun loungers and umbrellas. The maritime headquarters of the Commercial and Industrial Circle are located on the beach, and they have an accesible restaurant built on the sand itself . And, as a curiosity, behind the beach there is a piece of land that is used as an aerodrome and the headquarters of the Castellon Aeroclub.
Very close by you will find the Grao de Castellon, with a wide range of restaurants and bars to go to if you get hungry and are looking for places to have lunch or dinner. You have no excuse not to go to Gurugú beach and enjoy everything it has to offer. We'll be waiting for you there.
