The Pou Salat is a construction that used to provide the "calpinos" with water for domestic use. It also served as a watering place, until in 1878 channelled water reached Calpe. Incorporated into the construction is a small monolith of carved stone, belonging to the well, it supported pitchers and containers in which water was deposited, as well as a small fountain.
