Llevant Beach in Santa Pola is a place open to all types of visitors, as it has even received awards for its accessibility and elimination of barriers, perfect for all types of visitors to spend a great day by the sea! This beach in Santa Pola also has a lot of history, as legend has it that it was the first place in Spain from which football was seen playing. Specifically, English and Scottish marines anchored very close to there were practising said sport.
It has always been a beach loved by the locals, which is why many shops and restaurants, and even the Theatre and Casino, have been located very close to it. Of course it has lifeguards and first aid service, beach umbrellas and deckchairs for hire, beach bars for refreshments, toilets and free wifi zone, and even several areas for sports and games for the little ones.
