History has also left traces that have travelled through the centuries, in shelters and caves that you must see. Take note of this itinerary!
Day 1: Millares, Bicorp and Quesa
We start our route in Millares, following dinosaur footprints and visiting the cave paintings of the Barranco del Nacimiento and the Roser shelter, not forgetting the beautiful Chorradores, perfect for a nice photo and a swim when the weather is warm! The Canal de Navarrés is the perfect territory to discover great inland bathing areas.
We continue on to Bicorp, where the Cave of the Spider awaits us with its incredible legacy of cave art where we can contemplate how our ancestors depicted the honey harvest. Finally, this first day will take us to Quesa, a beautiful town where the natural pools, the Charcos de Quesa, invite us to relax with the beautiful colour of its clean waters.
Day 2: Navarrés, Bolbaite and Chella
The second day of our itinerary through the Canal de Navarrés takes us to Navarrés, where we will gape at the landscape of the Chorradores, beautiful natural waterfalls. Then we will head to Bolbaite, where we will be able to visit the fantastic Castle-Palace of the Cabanilles family and be amazed by the beauty of the Gorgo de la Cadena and the landscape next to the river.
Finally, on our second day on the Canal de Navarrés route, we will go to Chella, to visit the recreational area of the Fuente del Abrullador and take a walk at sunset through the old town, where you will surely be able to taste some typical local dishes such as gachamiga or gazpacho!
Day 3: Anna and Enguera
Our last day discovering what to see in the Canal de Navarrés in 3 days will take us to Anna, a municipality known for the beautiful surroundings of its lake, and also for its Castle-Palace of the Counts of Cervellón, which we recommend you visit with a guide to learn about its history.
From there we will visit Enguera, the last stop on our itinerary and an ideal place to go to museums, visiting the archaeological and ethnological ones, and to enjoy monumental buildings with a lot of history. And don't forget its water route! Prepare your 3-day getaway and enjoy a territory full of surprises. The Mancomunidad de la Canal de Navarrés is a territory to come back to time and time again.
