Turisme Carraixet gives travellers a chance to escape the stress and sound of the big city! Here, they can disconnect from the chaotic nature of daily living and reconnect with nature at its very best: like “Carraixet, Turisme de l’Horta.” This new tourist destination lets travellers take in the beauty of the Valencia province at a slower pace.
“Carraixet, Turisme de l’Horta” is made up of seven municipalities: Alfara del Patriarca, Bonrepòs i Mirambell, Foios, Vinalesa, Albalat dels Sorells, Almàssera and Meliana. These destinations in L'Horta Nord let visitors stop and take in the natural landscape, the local way of life and the area’s flavours. These gems of the natural landscape can be explored by bike or on foot, either alone or with a group.
"Camins del Carraixet,” "La Vía Churra" and "Anillo Verde" are the three trails that let travellers explore the valencian Horta Nord on something called a “slow bike.” These clean landscapes, devoid of pollution, allow you to breathe in and feel the fresh air as you go hiking right through them.
The food and drink here are also incomparable. “Tastem l’Horta” is a gastronomic club in Carraixet that celebrates the produce, bars and restaurants in the valencian orchard. Some of these restaurants include: Ca Pepico, El Racó, Ca Xoret, El Celler de Jadelu, Lluna de València and Barraca de Toni Montoliu. All of them centre around tradition and valuable agricultural products of kilometer zero.
With all this and more, Turisme Carraixet aims to help travellers soak up the scents and flavours of L'Horta Nord and enjoy a new way of exploring a new place.
