València Book Fair: València’s Renowned Literary Festival

The most anticipated literary event in València is back, giving you the opportunity to browse stacks of books in a beautiful garden.
València Book Fair 2024 is back at El Real-Viveros Gardens from the 25 April to the 5 May. This fun cultural event taking place in València city has got something for everyone.
The 59th edition of València Book Fair invites you to wander around the al fresco book stalls – stocked with all sorts of books – and attend fascinating cultural events. Beyond traditional book signings and meet-the-author events, the fair is hosting workshops, talks, lectures and other activities for all types of readers.
Additionally, the organisers have put together a number of activities specifically for schools. Running throughout the duration of València Book Fair, these constitute new and exciting ways to get little ones into reading.
There’s also the opportunity to get involved with reading clubs, which are a great way to discover more about the work and lives of your favourite authors. And then there are the fascinating discussions. Once you’ve attended València Book Fair, make sure to wander around the gardens, discovering incredible botanic species, or visit the Natural Science Museum. There’s plenty to keep the whole family happy.
València Book Fair is located just steps from València’s Fine Arts Museum, a spectacular art gallery where you can see the work of timeless artists. You’ll be blown away by the quality and beauty of the collection.
Sorolla, José de Ribera, Van Dyck, Goya, Juan de Juanes and other great artists are on display at the gallery. Plan a look around before you stroll among the books and comics at the Book Fair. It’s going to be an unforgettable day.
