Discover a beautiful landscape shaped by the river Sellent as it makes its way through Chella.

Chella Waterfall is one of the symbols of the destination of the same name, which is located in La Canal de Navarrés in the province of Valencia. The beauty spot is dominated by an impressive 25m waterfall that has shaped the surroundings and its valuable plant life.

The river Sellent reaches Chella where it forms a spectacular waterfall that is well worth a visit. It’s easy to get here: there’s a walk starting at La Fuente de Chella Park that takes less than an hour to get there and back. The trail runs along the river and to the ruins of what was once a great light factory. As you walk, you will come across the so-called ‘Cave that rains’, which are old warehouses that are now fully overgrown by the plant world. Once you reach the pool, take a dip in the midst of nature to cool off.

From the bed of the river Sellent, look up to see the beautiful waterfall: it’s the tallest in the whole county. We’d also recommend visiting the area know as 'Paraíso', a wetland bursting with vegetation that has its very own microclimate. Left wanting more?
