What to see in Enguera
The streets of Enguera are lined with traditional houses, so best to start with a leisurely stroll around town. We suggest you stop by the various churches in the town centre on your route, starting with the San Miguel Archangel Parish Church. This 16th-century church has a magnificent staircase on its main façade.
Afterwards, we recommend visiting the Church of the Sagrada Familia, which forms part of the former Convent of El Carmen. Next to this is the Casa de la Cultura, also located in one of the old convent buildings. You’ll love these buildings of great historical interest. Lastly, make sure you visit the San Cristóbal Hermitage and the San Antonio de Padua Parish Church.
Your next stop could be the Enguera Archaeological Museum to appreciate its archaeological and palaeontological collections. Some of the remains date back as far as the Cretaceous period!
