The temple, of baroque style, was constructed halfway through the 18th century and was destroyed during the Civil War. This new church - of classicist style - was rebuilt on the same site between the years 1940 and 1954. In the Communion Chapel a Gothic slab with the iconography of the Virgen de Gracia, attributed to Jacomart, is conserved, and also in the parish outbuildings the paintings of Cristóbal Llorens are kept. The mural that decorates the vault of the main altar is the work of the Alcoy painter Ramón Castañer.
