Cap Blanc cove in Altea, which is located close to the lively sailing club, is a place where you can enjoy the wonders of the Mediterranean with all the services you’ll need at your fingertips. The pebbly beach sits at the southernmost end of the town, rubbing shoulders with the neighbouring municipality of L'Alfàs del Pi. It is the biggest beach in the destination, meaning that even on busy days you’ll find a spot.
Cap Blanc is an accessible beach. If you’ve got a wheelchair, you can benefit from the services of the Red Cross, updates on sea conditions and everything you need to get to the sea. You’ll also find fountains to wash the sand off your feet, parking, a restaurant, a campsite and centres where you can try your hand at some water sports. All the services you could possibly want and more.
A great way to spend your time in Altea is to explore the beaches, one by one. Make sure you leave plenty of time for Cap Blanc cove where you’ll want to lounge around in the sun and take dips in the warm waters for hours on end.
Cap Blanc couldn’t be easier to get to. You can take public transport, drive and even walk, if you fancy strolling along the seafront promenade with your parasol slung over your shoulder. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a clean beach with crystalline waters whose gentle waves - most of the time - are the ideal place for children and inexperienced swimmers to enjoy the waters. Make sure you spend some time at this sparkling beach the next time you’re in the Altea area.
