Every year, from the fourth Sunday of April and for a little over a week, Benissa holds its main festivities in grand style, in a heartfelt and devoted manner. The most outstanding events include the coronation of the queen of the festivities, the procession with the tablet containing the image of the Puríssima Xiqueta, the floral offering, the day in honour of the “riberers” and that in honour of the “fadrins,” but also its concerts, parades, cavalcades, bullfights, fireworks, mascletás, paella cookouts…
