These old washing facilities, constructed in May, 1876, have recently been recovered in an attempt to show the customs of the former "calpinos" (inhabitants of Calpe), who used to come up to use this installation to wash their clothes. These washing facilities have been abandoned since running water was installed in the population in the sixties, and have been reconstructed under the design and direction of Elías Úrbez and Esteban Juárez.
