Iglesia Parroquial de Nuestra Señora del Pilar, Nuestra Señora del Pilar Parish Church, is located in Los Montesinos in La Vega Baja in the province of Alicante. This 19th century place of worship was constructed at almost the same time of the aggrandisement of the centre, which sits next to Las Lagunas de la Mata y Torrevieja Natural Park.

This is a church in which you can see beautiful sculptures, namely pieces by the sculptor José Sánchez Lozano and members of the Salzillo school. The sculpture of Cristo de la Agonía, whose artist is unknown, will capture your attention with its startling expressivity.

In terms of the layout of Nuestra Señora del Pilar Parish Church, you will see there is a central and two side naves, as well as the choir and the connecting tower.
