Cala Bosque Beach is 258 metres long and 105 metres wide. It is located in the Alicante city of Orihuela and is also known as La Zenia beach. This portion of the Orihuela coast is very extensive, with a surface area of 27,090 m², so you are sure to find a spot when you go there to plant your umbrella, stretch out your towel and enjoy the Costa Blanca climate.
This fine sandy beach is very complete in terms of services. There are public toilets, lifeguard and life-saving equipment, footbaths, beach umbrellas and sun loungers for rent. Accessibility is very well cared for in Cala Bosque: there is an accessible point with amphibious chairs to help people with reduced mobility to take a bath. You will also find wider walkways than usual to facilitate wheelchair access.
This beach is perfect for sports activities. In fact, the 'Arenas 1000 playas de Orihuela' beach handball championship is held here. And if you are looking for leisure alternatives, Cala Bosque also offers them! From its beach bars to the hotels, restaurants and shops that surround it, don't miss its promenade!
Getting to Cala Bosque in the coast of Orihuela is easy. You can go on foot or by bus from the town centre. From the N-332 you can get there by car and park nearby. We invite you to discover a charming beach on the Costa Blanca. Take advantage of the good temperature in Orihuela and spend an amazing day at Cala Bosque.
