“San Vicente del Raspeig” prepares for its Patron Saint and Moors and Christians Festivities 2025

San Vicente del Raspeig dresses up to celebrate its awaited Patron Saint and Moors and Christians Festivities 2025, which will take place from April 22nd to May 4th. This year, the celebration will be even more special, as we commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Moors and Christians Festivities, a milestone that will mark the history of our municipality.

During these weeks of celebration, neighbors and visitors will be able to enjoy a program full of activities for all ages. From the exciting parades of Moors and Christians, with their impressive boatos and spectacular costumes, to the religious events in honor of our patron saint, San Vicente Ferrer. In addition, there will be concerts, fireworks shows and traditional cultural events that will fill the streets of the city with joy.

The Moorish and Christian comparsas will once again make all attendees vibrate with their energy and color, recalling the history and tradition that have made these festivities a cultural reference in the Valencian Community. This 50th anniversary will be a unique opportunity to pay tribute to all the people who have made it possible for this tradition to endure and continue to grow year after year.

Among the most unique events of the Moors and Christians Festival is the Night Embassy, a show full of emotion and drama that relives the struggle between the two sides under the moonlight. you can not miss it!

The Patron Saint Festivities also feature unique events, such as the emotional Descent of the Saint, the traditional Flower Festival, which fills the streets of the municipality with color and devotion, the splendorous and vibrant entrance of Queens that precedes the Christian Entrance on Saturday and the intimate Lantern Dance, a very special and emotional moment.
