Of the three towers in the municipality, the “Torre Escaletes” or “Torre Pep” is the tower that conserves the highest grade of conservation, and is found at the highest altitude. Its circular structure conserves its masonry, although it has lost part of its crown. Its defensive function was to announce the arrival of the enemy before they reached the coast.
