Sunrise among the vines with wine tasting in Javea

Fascinating experience among the vines, lasting approximately two hours, with a pleasant walk through the countryside, reviewing the history, culture and cultivation of the vineyard and wine production. Wine tasting, with tasting of local products (preferably), in a picnic format. Minimum group of 6 people, up to 12 people.

The financial crisis of 2008 put an end to the urban planning project to extend the Jávea golf course and the development and construction of 850 houses around it... It seemed to be the end, because a few decades before, agriculture had also been lost. However, it was only the beginning, a new beginning: the land, formed by the fields and the forest, was freed from its ties.

The Coster d'En Sala's #ProyectoDeVida is an initiative to recover the wine-growing activity in La Marina Alta, between Xàbia/Jávea and El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, which is based on our estate of just over 20 hectares, with plots of cereal, olive trees, almond trees, carob trees, native forest and, of course, vineyards.

Currently, the 7.7 Ha vineyard, planted between 2020 and 2022, is mainly made up of native varieties, and is singular and unique due to its soils, its climate and the training systems used: Californian and Australian sprawls, semi-sprawl, vertical axes and five-armed candelabra-shaped vases allow us to achieve excellence in the cultivation of grapes.
