This November come and see the Nao Victoria in Peñíscola.

The Nao Victoria is Ferdinand Magellan's ship. Its name is associated with the greatest adventure in the history of navigation: the first circumnavigation of the world in the 16th century (1519/1522).

Built for the Universal Exhibition in Seville (1992), its home port, the Nao Victoria is the only replica of the original ship that, to date, has completed a circumnavigation of the world.

In 2004, the replica of the Nao Victoria reproduced the feat of the first circumnavigation of the world in order to publicize the greatest maritime feat of all time, carried out by Spanish sailors.

After the extraordinary adventure of around the world 2004 - 2006 and taking the name of the ship, the Nao Victoria Foundation was established in 2006, a non-profit entity, with the aim of continuing to spread the word about the First Around the World and its history. Spanish maritime through this unique and exceptional historical replica.

Since then and with these purposes, the Nao Victoria has been managed by said foundation, carrying out its own projects around the world and participating in wide-ranging national and international events. Ambassador of the First Round the World, symbol of Spanish maritime history, floating museum and training ship, in the last thirteen years, the Nao Victoria has sailed thousands of miles, it has visited the main ports throughout Spain, Europe and the USA ., and has more than 6 million visitors.
