Come to visit an emblematic building in Segorbe.

The Ayuntamiento de Segorbe, Segorbe town hall, in Castellón, can be found in Agua Limpia square, in a 17th-century building that was once the palace of the dukes of Segorbe. Its interior space houses two valuable Mudejar pieces: a door with interlacing patterns and the coffered ceiling of the Plenary Hall, a magnificent wooden work with octagonal coffers and four-pointed stars that demonstrates the splendour of the age. The Segorbe town hall building also preserves three marble and jasper portals that come from the Vall de Christ Chaterhouse, in Altura. Below the Plenary Hall, you’ll also find the auditorium of Segorbe’s Casino-Cultural Club, which is decorated with square coffers and eight-pointed stars to complete the wonderful artistic heritage of this emblematic building.
