Experience a festival in Torás steeped in local history, and get ready to fall in love with its colourful traditions.

Come and check out Fiestas en Honor a Santa Quiteria de Torás, Torás’s Santa Quiteria Festival. Located in El Alto Palancia, in the province of Castellón, this quaint Valencian village celebrates its festival on the weekend around 22nd of May. The tradition is especially meaningful for the women, or "mozas," as Santa Quiteria is their patron saint.

During Santa Quiteria Festival, you’ll find many exciting events to get involved in, including communal meals and traditional games like the sack race on Saturday.

That evening, the celebration continues with a lively communal dinner, live music and dancing. But be sure to save some energy for Sunday as this day features a heartfelt mass and procession, where the local children take centre stage. You won’t want to miss this special celebration for a taste of local culture in rural Valencia.
