La Torre in Càlig: A Cottage in a Serene Setting
La Torre county cottage is tucked away in the quiet town of Càlig, in the county of El Baix Maestrat in the province of Castellón. It’s the perfect place to spend a few days as a tourist immersed in nature with family or friends. You’ll find fantastic destinations such as El Barranc d'Aigua Oliva, which boasts a plant micro-reserve and stoic oak trees, right on your doorstep.
Built in 1900, La Torre has been recently renovated to ensure maximum comfort for guests. This welcoming home away from home has three double, two single bedrooms and three bathrooms.
On the ground floor of La Torre is one of the bedrooms and bathroom, the living room and a mini library where you’ll also find board games for those infrequent rainy days.
The first floor comprises the fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, another bathroom and one of the double bedrooms. The next floor up houses the rest of the bedrooms and the last bathroom. And last but certainly not least, on the top floor you’ll find a terrace complete with barbecue, the laundry room and the attic space And if you want to bring your furry friend along with you, get in contact with the accommodation.
La Torre country cottage boasts a prime location just a few metres from the 13th-century Medieval Càlig Tower. Step out of the house and you’ll find yourself in the heart of town, charming narrow streets in all directions. You’ll also find the tourist information office a short walk away.
Plan a hike along green pathways that lead you to ancient sites such as the Neolithic Casetes de Volta al Terme from your cosy abode La Torre in Càlig. You’ll have a great time!
