The route starts in Xert, in the heart of the Baix Maestrat, and passes through some of the most enchanting places in Castellón: extraordinary coves, the historic cave paintings at Tirig-Valltorta (a UNESCO world heritage site), picturesque villages such as Peñíscola and Morella, and stunning natural landscapes that extend as far as the eye can see. As you pedal through each area, you will also, of course, taste the traditional local gastronomy.
