A la Sombra de la Torre is a beautiful country house dating back to the late 19th century. Located in Serra, in the heart of Sierra Calderona natural park, the guesthouse has been thoughtfully renovated and has become one of the most popular places to stay in the area. The renovation work showcases the original structure and decorative features such as farm tools, hand painted Valencian tiles, radio equipment, a collection of old watches, copper pots, pottery and much more.
Following the renovations, the country house now offers everything you could possibly want or need to enjoy a dreamy stay. Each of the rooms has a unique feel and atmosphere and there are shared spaces where you can snuggle up with a good book or get lost in interesting conversation by the fireplace.
The guestrooms are named after different local sights. El Castell offers beautiful views over Sierra Calderona while both Satareña and La Gorrisa overlook the old surveillance tower and the pretty naturescape.
To further elevate your stay at Casa Granero, you simply have to savour the dishes served at its restaurant. From rice and fideuá to other local specialities, the cuisine will treat your palate to a flavour sensation. Come along to Serra to live this magical experience for yourself.
