Foios
Its rich gastronomy, its intense cultural life and the Huerta (the vegetable garden) are three distinguishing marks of this council that is located just a few kilometres away from the city of Valencia. Foios offers one of the most succulent gastronomies within the Valencian Horta Nord (northern vegetable garden). Some of its famous dishes are the ‘arròs amb fessols i naps’, the ‘calderetes’, the ‘coca cristina’, the ‘pastissets de moniato’ and the Santiago cake.
