What to see in l'Alqueria de la Comtessa
We invite you to explore the small town centre and discover beautiful ceramic panels on old façades, some dating back to the early 19th century. Afterwards, visit the Parish Church of St. Peter and St. Paul Martyrs. This early 20th-century temple is built in the academic style and its dome gives the urban landscape a very characteristic appearance.
One of the things to do in l'Alqueria de la Comtessa is to visit its Hermitage of San Miguel Arcángel, at the top of a hill from which to enjoy great views. You can get there on foot, as it is only 15 minutes from the center of l'Alqueria de la Comtessa.
La Fonteta de la Quaresma is a beautiful space in the open air, in the middle of nature, perfect for a short excursion and finishing off with a picnic. The path that leads there from l'Alqueria de la Comtessa is easy and will take you just under half an hour to walk. The landscape of irrigated land, with orange groves and dry land, with carob and olive trees, will open up before you, together with great views of a region not to be missed.
We recommend you visit l'Alqueria de la Comtessa to stroll among irrigation ditches and discover old farmhouses and irrigation engines, or let the little ones have a great time in the L'Eco-Oci area, where you'll also find paella cookers, tables and benches. Start planning a delightful visit!
