Come and discover a beautiful church in Oliva and explore the fascinating old town.

La iglesia parroquial de San Roque, the San Roque parish church, situated in Oliva in the province of Valencia, was probably built over the mosque that previously existed in the Raval de Oliva in the 15th century. The church itself dates from the 19th century, although it has preserved the chapel of Christ, built in 1749, which remains an authentic baroque delight. The frescoes of its cupolas add vivid colour and detail to this historic building.

This is a monument that you really can’t afford to miss, and there’s so much more to explore when you’re in Oliva. Nestled in the county of La Safor, Oliva offers a wealth of experiences all year round. Its beaches, mountain scenery and beautiful old town offer the perfect blend of nature and culture, in the Parque Oliva Marsh Natural Park. You can try your hand at sports like golf, and combine it with relaxing escapes around the course and historic centre. Sounds enticing, right?
