Iglesia Parroquial de San Pedro Apóstol, San Pedro Apóstol Parish Church in Paterna, located in the province of Valencia, sits in the town’s Plaza del Pueblo. The church dates back to the 14th century when it was built on the site of the former mosque. Over the course of its history, the church has undergone comprehensive expansion and renovation work that lasted until the start of the 19th century, when it was completed in the Neoclassical style that you can see today.

San Pedro Apóstol Parish Church comprises one nave with a half-barrel vault, a crossing and side chapels located between the buttresses. The statue of San Pedro is situated at the high altar, next to statues of San Juan Bautista and San Antonio. Outside, take your time to look at the façade which was restored in 1940 and the high reliefs from 1966, which depict scenes from the Bible.
