The church of San Juan del Hospital is one of the oldest in Valencia. The site housed originally a hospital, a convent and a cemetery, although these installations started to decline as from 1317. The present church is of a single nave with a pointed barrel vault, and of note in the interior is the chapel of Santa Bárbara with its painted ornamentation and plaster-work.
