This is a fishing and sporting port belonging to the Regional Valencian Government, which has constructed new moorings classified for public use. These have been built between the fishing quay and the sailing club and the entry of craft of up to 4.5 metres draught is permitted. Its location, very close to the town of Benidorm, means that the port offers a contrast to the hustle and bustle of the popular tourist resort.
