The emblematic hole at Lo Romero is the 18th, a par 4 of 302 to 370 metres, depending on where the tee is placed.

This hole, with a handicap of 1, is memorable not just for the difficulty involved in making par, or even a bogey, but also for its stunning beauty. The tees are high up and look down over the rest of the hole. The spectacular green is surrounded by water, resembling a Mediterranean island, and measures 731 square metres.

It is almost completely flat, so accurate and technically precise putts are successful. It is a hole that should be played with the head, leaving the heart to one side.

How to get

Km. 29 of the road from Pilar de la Horadada to Orihuela. On the motorway, take the exits 770 and 774 of the AP-7 motorway, which links it from Cartagena with Alicante, Valencia, Barcelona and also with Madrid.
