Discover some great places with these fantastic free guided tours to get to know Xaló, in Alacant, in depth. These tours take place on Saturdays at 11 a.m. The meeting point is marked in Tourist Info Vall de Pop. More specifically, the tours will run on 12 and 26 April, 31 May and 14 June in Spanish; 5 July and 13 September in English; and 12 July and 6 September in French.
The guide introduces you to Xaló's history, with a stroll along Avinguda Rei Joan Carles that will take you to the Hermitage of Santo Domingo. Afterwards, you have time to admire an old water mill, a truly representative example of Xaló's heritage! From there, the next stop takes you back in time to Roman Xaló.
You will also visit the beautiful Bassa dels Arcs reservoir, built between the 18th and 19th centuries, and finally, Xaló's historic centre. Sign up for this fascinating tour! And why not complement it with a little wine tourism?
