The convent still has its original structure, in spite of being extensively restored. It has a single nave, without side chapels, and a simple cloister. Masonry is used for the whole building, except for the cloister; Arabic tiles are used for the roofs. The façade is in the Baroque style. The building is at present being reformed to house the new museum.
