Borriol is positively bursting with history, which you can delve into at Borriol History Museum, also known as MUHBO.
Ddedicated to San Vicente Ferrer, this small and simple chapel has a stone which, traditional has it, the saint once stood on to preach.
The façade of San Vicente Ferrer Chapel in Borriol features a ceramic panel and an inscription of the structure’s date of construction. Combining stone with the colour white, the chapel paints a pretty picture. Next to the chapel, you will see what is known as the “hermitage” and an esplanade where there used to be a kitchen garden. Here you can see a well dating to the year 1952 and a stone fountain.
You can walk to the chapel from central Borriol in just half an hour. It’s an easy walk that is ideal for a family excursion. Do you fancy coming to Borriol to explore all of its points of interest?
