On the 16 July, Oropesa del Mar hosts a fiesta that is beloved among the locals, particularly those who have a connection with sailing and the sea. The event also draws in visitors who are keen to see the beautiful boat procession, which is a highlight of the Fiestas de la Virgen del Carmen programme. A large number of boats accompany the procession in a sight that is sure to get your emotions going.
