Celebrated in Segorbe since the 14th century, ‘Entrada de Toros y Caballos’, Entrance of Bulls and Horses, is a long-standing event in September that follows the Patron Saint Festival and lasts a whole week.

During that week, every day at 2pm, six bulls and twelve locals on horseback race through the main streets of the town, surrounded by hundreds of spectators. With no physical barriers marking out the route, the sea of onlookers creates a pathway, parting as the animals charge towards them. This is an exhilarating event that is not for the faint-hearted!
