Do you want to discover how the Iberians lived in La Celadilla de Ademuz? Our local guide will tell you about the latest findings of the site and you will also enjoy a trail with spectacular views.

Starting from the Vega, immersed in a vigorous and fertile landscape watered by the Turia, we go through La Muela to La Celadilla.

The Iberians found in La Celadilla an enclave where they settled and dominated the whole of the Vega del Turia between the 5th and 4th centuries B.C. These pre-Roman people were distributed throughout the eastern part of the Iberian Peninsula.

Unlike other Iberian settlements, La Celadilla has exceptional findings that make it unique: remains of their foodstuffs, tools and the burnt Iberians themselves, as a fire razed the settlement to the ground, leaving it completely charred.

Only 10 years of archaeological work have made it possible to restore a tower, part of the wall and some homes.

Recommendations: hiking clothes and footwear. Water, sunglasses and sun protection.
