Step inside a jaw-droppingly beautiful palace tucked away in a rural destination boasting fairytal-like attractions.

Originally built as an Almohad fortress in the 12th and 13th centuries, Castillo-Palacio de los Condes de Cervellón, Counts of Cervellón Castle-Palace, evolved into a noble residence by the 17th century. Located in Anna, over time, it housed several aristocratic families before being sold in 1890. In the early 2000s, a meticulous restoration revived its Islamic architectural essence, blending Andalusian elegance with later Baroque influences.

Today, the historic landmark is home to ethnographic exhibits, housed in its cistern and former stables, while its Arab-style courtyard and grand halls showcase exquisite fountains, marble details and intricate stucco work. The Borja Hall and Santa Ana Chapel add a touch of Baroque grandeur, rounding out a visit that offers both history and culture. Make a day of it - explore Anna’s attractive landmarks and its glittering lake.
