El Torres Beach is a semi-urban beach in Villajoyosa that is located near the town centre, just 2 kilometres away. It is 560 meters long and quite narrow, only 10 metres in width However, it is surrounded by a broad promenade with green areas, perfect for strolling, enjoying the good summer weather and contemplating olive, fig and eucalyptus trees.
If you like diving, El Torres is a perfect beach for it. You can also take advantage of its beach bar, where we can have a drink or even eat, to the south of the beach.
El Torres has all kinds of services at our disposal. You can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, use its parking and access by walkways to the shore. In addition, it holds many curiosities: if you approach it you will see that there is a tower, the Sant Josep Tower, which is the best preserved Roman funerary of the Iberian Peninsula. Visit it!
To get to this area, in the north of the municipality of Villajoyosa, we recommend driving along the N-332 or the A-7. The access is very simple; you have two, actually, the south and the north, as it is quite long.
It is a beach suitable for fishing in which you will be able to practice several nautical activities such as paddle-surfing, kayaking and jet skis. The Q of Qualitur indicates the good state of its waters, which are controlled periodically. The beach is signposted and please note that dogs and caravans are not allowed. Have you put it all down?
